Mr Chris Inglefield
 

Chris Inglefield was born in Trinidad, and after graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Canada, he obtained his Medical Degree from the University of the West Indies, in Jamaica and Trinidad.

He pursued his post-graduate training in Surgery in the UK. His initial training in General Surgery and Orthopaedics, culminated in his passing the examination for admission to the Royal College of Surgeons of England as a Fellow. He became passionate about Plastic Surgery and began his specialist training in accredited Hospitals in Scotland and England. After nearly 6 years developing his specialist skills and experience he passed the final examination in Plastic Surgery and was awarded the FRCS (Plast). This examination confirms the candidates expertise in all aspects of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery. Having completed his specialist training and obtained his Specialist exam in Plastic Surgery, he was admitted on to the Specialist Register of the UK General Medical Council.

Chris Inglefield has been a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in the NHS since 1998 and has provided a high standard of care in Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery privately during this time. He has introduced innovative techniques and methods throughout his training and as a Consultant, with significant benefits to his patients. His areas of special interest include Breast Surgery / Reconstruction, Reconstructive microsurgery, Skin Cancer and Genitourinary and Hypospadias Surgery. He is committed to providing his patients with the highest standard of care and his approachable, professional and caring manner facilitates a thorough understanding of his patient's motivations, goals and fears. This enables the agreement of a treatment plan that is in the patient's best interest at all times.

In order to ensure that the highest standard of care is delivered and continually improved, he regularly participates in Audit of his work. Because your experiences and views are important, he conducts regular Patient Satisfaction Survey to monitor and improve the care received by his patients. He attends regular courses and meetings both nationally and internationally that facilitate the exchange of information and ensures that his patients continue to receive the high standard of care that they demand and rightly deserve.

We strive by our high standards of care and continuous review of our practice to minimise risks as far as possible.

Cathy Young , Mary Barrett and Shanna Young look after your enquiries, appointments and financial matters. Cathy has over 15 years experience in the Medical field and has been with our Practice for 6 years. She and Shanna will handle your arrangements for Hospital treatment in a professional, caring and sympathetic manner.

Mary joined the Practice in 2003 and will look after your appointments. She will make every effort to meet your requirements so do not hesitate to speak with her if you have a problem with your appointment date.

Shanna Young recently joined us and will assist you with your enquiries and appointments.

Peta Crompton RGN, is our Senior Practice Nurse who has over 10 years experience in Theatres before joining our Practice in 2003. Peta will meet with you on your admission and guide you through your Hospital treatment assisting during your operation and ensuring that you receive the highest possible standard of care during your stay. She will also be present for most of your post-operative appointments.

Adele Pyrah RGN, is our Practice Nurse - Out Patient Services who joined us in 2004 having gained considerable experience in caring for patients on the Wards for 7 years. She will attend most pre-operative consultations and will look after you following your surgery. Adele will respond to many of your internet enquiries in a professional, caring and approachable manner.

Peta and Adele will be available 24hrs, every day to respond to your concerns and deal with any untoward problems. Please do not hesitate to contact either of them if you have any concerns.
